Welcome to How 2 Get Signed ("How 2 Get Signed," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of how2getsigned.com (the "Site"), including any digital products, physical merchandise, and services offered through it. By accessing or using the Site, placing an order, or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who We Are

How 2 Get Signed is operated by Lamar "Mac Millz" McIntyre, an independent entertainment industry professional providing artist education, digital products, merchandise, and creative services (photography, videography, marketing, promotion, EPKs, and studio time) to independent musicians and labels.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to make a purchase on the Site. By placing an order, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Products, Digital Content & Services

  • Digital products (eBooks, guides, bundles) are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use upon purchase. You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly share the content.
  • Physical merchandise is made to order through a print-on-demand partner and sold subject to our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.
  • Creative and coaching services (photography, videography, marketing, promotion, EPK creation, studio time) are booked separately after you contact us, and may be governed by a separate service agreement or statement of work provided at that time. These Terms apply to your general use of the Site in connection with those services, but specific scope, pricing, and delivery timelines for services will be confirmed directly with you before work begins.

4. No Guarantee of Results

How 2 Get Signed provides education, strategy, and creative services intended to help independent artists build their careers. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, income, streaming numbers, follower growth, record deal, or career result from using our digital products, merchandise, or services. Individual results depend on factors outside our control, including your own effort, market conditions, and industry factors.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, course/guide content, and images — is owned by How 2 Get Signed or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission, except as expressly permitted for your personal use of a purchased digital product.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, other users' accounts, or our systems.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, or attempt to disrupt the Site's operation.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when purchasing services.

7. Payment

All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise noted. Payment is processed securely through Shopify's checkout system. We do not store your full payment card details.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, How 2 Get Signed and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, our products, or our services, including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim arising from your purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless How 2 Get Signed and its owner from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site, products, or services.

10. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may link to third-party websites or services (e.g., ASCAP, BMI, SoundExchange, social platforms, our print-on-demand fulfillment partner). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site or service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where superseded by mandatory consumer-protection laws of your own country or state of residence (for example, EU/UK consumers retain any non-waivable statutory rights).
